Dear IB Parents,
Many thanks to the many of you that were able to attend the IB Know Your School Evening on Tuesday 24th August. I would like to stress again the importance of the school and parents working together to ensure that our students are sucessful in both the IB Diploma and the University application process. I would also like to stress the importance of an IB Grade of 5.5. This is the ‘magic’ number that is needed to have the best transcript possible and to be able to graduate with honours at the end of grade 12. Please have a look that the links to the right for the college board site (SAT registration), the common application site (many US universites) and UCAS (the application site for universities in the UK). Below I have also uploaded the following documents.

Muchas gracias a todos ustedes que asistieron a la reunión del BI “Conoce tu escuela” el martes 24 de agosto. Deseo enfatizar nuevamente la importancia de que la escuela y los padres trabajen juntos para asegurarse que nuestros estudiantes sean exitosos tanto en el Diploma del BI como en el proceso de aplicar a las Universidades. Quiero enfatizar la importancia de obtener calificaciones en el BI de 5.5. Este el el número “mágico” que se necesita para lograr la mejor transcripción de notas posible y poder graduarse con honores al finalizar el 12vo grado. Por favor revise los enlaces a la derecha para el sitio web del College Board (inscripción al SAT). el sitio web de “Common Aplication” (mayoría de las universidades de EEUU) y UCAS (sitio para aplicar a universidades en GB). A continuación he incluido los siguientes documentos:
